Questions Students Ask Before Registering

Is this permanent makeup training suitable for beginners?

Yes. The fundamental course starts with skin, safety, equipment, mapping and core technique before moving into supervised practical work.

The courses include supervised live-model work for students who complete the required licensing and course preparation. Students provide their own model.

Your kit includes a machine, mapping supplies, premium ink, anesthetic, needles and practice materials. Everything you need for class and for working with your first model is provided.

No. Fundamental training and the 200 supervised hours used for Minnesota technician licensing are separate, and apprenticeship places depend on availability.
Students who attend every scheduled day and meet the course requirements receive a Certificate of Completion. The certificate is not a state license.
The Permanent Method requires attendance on every scheduled day. Missing a day can result in an incomplete course and no Certificate of Completion.

Yes, but get in touch before registering. You may need a Minnesota guest artist license or another license for live-model work, based on your current credentials.

Lunch is provided on training days that are scheduled for more than 4 hours. You are welcome to bring snacks and your own meals for break time.

Scholarships and grants are not available at this time; however, our apprenticeship is designed to pay as you go.
