Questions Students Ask Before Registering
Is this permanent makeup training suitable for beginners?
Yes. The fundamental course starts with skin, safety, equipment, mapping and core technique before moving into supervised practical work.
Will I work on a live model?
The courses include supervised live-model work for students who complete the required licensing and course preparation. Students provide their own model.
What comes in the training kit?
Your kit includes a machine, mapping supplies, premium ink, anesthetic, needles and practice materials. Everything you need for class and for working with your first model is provided.
Does the course include the 200-hour apprenticeship?

What happens if I miss a training day?
Can out-of-state students attend?
Yes, but get in touch before registering. You may need a Minnesota guest artist license or another license for live-model work, based on your current credentials.
Is food provided on training days?
Lunch is provided on training days that are scheduled for more than 4 hours. You are welcome to bring snacks and your own meals for break time.
Do you offer scholarships or grants?
Scholarships and grants are not available at this time; however, our apprenticeship is designed to pay as you go.
